York's unique Pre-University Summer School is an excellent opportunity for bright secondary school students aged 16-18 to get a taste of studying at a Russell Group university and boosting their university application.

Their two-week subject-specific programmes offer an exceptional academic opportunity to students, as well as a university certificate and a guaranteed typical offer for their undergraduate programmes on successful completion of the Summer School.

U Bath International Summer School

Bath's International Summer School is a free online programme focusing on various course areas offered at the University, consisting of a programme of academic activities, general sessions on applying to and studying in the UK and having contact with current students at the University. You will also be able to engage with your peers looking to studying a similar course to you.

Successful completion of the programme will give access to a guaranteed conditional offer (subject to conditions).

The United States

Boston University offers five pre-college programs, each of which provides rigorous and collaborative college life experiences that will enable students to gain a strong sense of their personal and academic potential.

High School Honors is a six-week program in which students take Boston University undergraduate courses and earn up to 8 transferable college credits.
RISE Internship/Practicum is a six-week, non-credit residential or commuter program in which students conduct scientific research in a university lab under the guidance of a faculty mentors.
Academic Immersion (AIM) is a three-week, non-credit residential or commuter program for students to focus intensively on a single academic topic while experiencing life on a college campus.
Summer Challenge is a two-week residential or online program in which students take two non-credit seminars of their choice and experience college life.
Summer Preview is a one-week, non-credit residential or commuter program in which students explore one subject of interest while previewing the college experience.

Cornell Precollege Summer Program

Get a head start on college by taking fascinating online undergraduate courses taught by esteemed Cornell faculty, earn college credits and a Cornell transcript, and prep for college admissions.

Choose from dozens of three- and six-week online undergraduate Cornell courses in the arts, business and hospitality, international relations, science and technology, veterinary medicine, and more. More courses will be added in the coming months.

Parsons Summer Intensive Studies

CityU College of Engineering Bright Future Engineering Talent Hub - Summer STEM Activities

The Hub had great success in Summer 2022, with more than 700 secondary school students participating in their activities.

The Hub will continue to organise a series of experiential, fun and interactive activities for secondary school students this summer to raise their interest in engineering. These activities are all free of charge and open for students Y7-Y12.
