In order to have your final IB results sent to universities, ALL students MUST complete the IB Final Results to Universities form and email the document as a PDF to applications@rchk.edu.hk by Friday 17 April, 2026.
Make sure that you read the 'Final Notes' at the bottom of the document. If something changes and you need to update the form, you can do so up until 31 May 2026.
You can find the form HERE
Please Update your Unifrog Account
All Year 13 students are reminded to regularly update their Unifrog accounts. Many uni offers have come in during the past 7 weeks, and the FE office uses Unifrog to help us track all of that info.
We need students to log into their Unifrog account and add details of ALL responses received thus far:
Add your course details/programme name etc
Include offer details, eg ALL HL point conditions
Any scholarship money
Add rejections too 🙏
All Year 12 students need at least ONE reference letter to support their university applications, so everyone MUST complete the Reference Writer Request form.
Why so early?
We need time to process your requests and teachers need time to write the letters (especially teachers who are leaving at the end of the school year)!
The 'Rules'
The reference writer must be one of your current Year 12 HL or SL teachers. It cannot be someone who only teaches you EE or ToK.
The form was due on 24 Feb (we're still waiting on 5 students to submit!)
All Year 12 students should meet with their FE counsellor at some point between now and the end of March.
You need to prepare the following before the meeting:
A list of universities that you are interested in
A list of Qs to discuss
Update your Unifrog account
Use the ‘Youcanbookme’ link - it's at the bottom of this newsletter! - to choose a time that works for you - no skipping classes for this!
The FE team sets internal deadlines to help Year 13 students stay on track with their university applications.
Parents and students can view these deadlines on the Inspire sidebar, under Year 13 > Y13 Deadlines
If you have any questions, please email careers@rchk.edu.hk

"Lots of meaningful information on how to do detailed research on different universities and what to look out for in college applications"
- Max Yeung, 11.6
Over the past two weeks the FE team have been working with the Year 11 students during their Science of Wellbeing classes. We use these classes to get students thinking about FE-related topics such as what students look for in universities and different university systems around the world. We also provide them with tools to help them focus their research.
We hope that the students found it helpful. Please ask your child to share with you what they learnt!
On Thursday, 27 February, Mr. Luke Simmons, Senior Liaison & Recruitment Officer at UCL, ran a webinar session for RCHK students to talk about all things UCL-related.
