On 19 January, RCHK hosted a university fair, which was mainly UK-focussed but also included local universities, Ritsumeikan Asia Pacific University (Japan), University of British Columbia, Singapore Institute of Management and EHL Hospitality Business School (Switzerland).
We hope that parents and students found it helpful, as. attending fairs like these can be a great way of gaining accurate, up-to-date information about new university courses and IB requirements for admission.
Dr. Kendrick Co Shih, Assistant Dean and Programme Director of MBBS Enrichment Year, along with Agnes Leung, part of the HKUMed Admissions team, came to RCHK on 22 January to talk about applying to their Medical School. Joining them were Warren Suen, Charmaine Lie and Aidan Ma, all current HKUMed students from RCHK's Class of 2025.
Dr. Shih said that he was delighted to have a chance to visit RCHK for the first time, as he has had the privilege of teaching fantastic students from the RCHK every year, so it was wonderful to visit and speak on our campus.
We are so thankful to everyone who came to talk to our studentes, and shared advice for being successful in the IB.
On 27 January, Dr. Rhiannon Rhiannon Griffiths from York Law School came to RCHK to talk about all things law-related. After the event, she commented that she was very impressed by how many students attended - around 40! - and by how enthusiastically they engaged with the session.
